Introduction to Men’s Style
Start with a look you like and a familiar piece, rather than memorizing garment names. Compare four starting styles, then explore images to discover more specific preferences.
Minimalism is not just about wearing black clothes. Start by looking at combinations that clearly show the shape of the clothing, such as the shoulder line of a shirt, the width of pants, and the length of a coat.
Starting Combination
Oxford shirt + straight fit pants + neat outerwear
Minimal style How to get started and learn terminology ↗Casual style covers comfortable everyday clothing. Start by changing the pants with one familiar top, rather than choosing everything loose.
Starting Combination
Basic t-shirt + cardigan + denim or chino pants
Casual Style How to get started and learn terminology ↗Workwear is a style that stands out for its pockets, reinforced sewing, and solid texture. You don't have to have all the workwear elements, you can start by adding just one item.
Starting Combination
Work jacket + basic T-shirt + straight-leg jeans or carpenter pants
Workwear Style How to get started and learn terminology ↗Look at street as a starting point for freely combining loose silhouettes, sporty elements, and layering, rather than a single fixed outfit.
Starting Combination
Relaxed sweat top + wide pants + familiar sneakers
Street Style How to get started and learn terminology ↗ How to use model examples for ages 20–39, 40–59 and 60 and over
The age setting helps find AI-generated model examples closer to you. It does not decide which clothes suit an age or report popularity by age. Explore minimalist, casual, workwear and streetwear styles at any age.
- People in their 20s and 30s: Look at an example of a virtual model set for the appropriate age, and compare the desired mood with the width and length of the clothes.
- People in their 40s and 50s: Look for examples of the same style with different top and bottom ratios and ways of layering. We don’t determine a brand or taste just by choosing your age.
- Ages 60 and over: Use virtual models set to that age as a reference, but check comfort and movement in real clothes. The model image does not guarantee your body shape or measurements.
In the style explorer, choose age, hairstyle, body type and height preferences. Other examples may appear when matches are limited, so check each card’s match and difference notes.
